Giant African Land Snails (Up to 1CM)

Giant African Land Snails (GALS) are large terrestrial snails native to East Africa, with some growing up to 20 cm. They need a warm, humid, and well-ventilated enclosure with soft substrate for burrowing. GALS are herbivorous, eating leafy greens, fruits, vegetables, and calcium sources like cuttlebone. They lay eggs in moist substrate and require regular calcium supplementation for healthy shell growth. Gentle handling is important, and in some countries they are illegal to own due to their invasive potential.
