Key Benefits

  • Frozen feeder mice for suitable reptiles

  • Available in multiple sizes

  • Useful for snakes and other carnivorous reptiles that feed on rodents

  • Easier to store than live feeders

  • Helps keep prey sizing more consistent

  • Allows keepers to plan feeding routines in advance

Suitable For

Frozen Mice may be suitable for:

  • Corn Snakes

  • Royal Pythons

  • Milk Snakes

  • King Snakes

  • Hognose Snakes where appropriate

  • Other rodent-eating reptiles where suitable

How to Use

Choose the correct prey size based on the reptile’s body size, age, species and current feeding schedule. Frozen mice should be fully thawed before feeding and warmed appropriately according to normal reptile feeding practice.

Never feed frozen prey directly from the freezer. Do not use a microwave to thaw or heat feeder rodents. Remove any uneaten food after feeding and clean the enclosure area where needed.

Care Guidance

Feeding frequency and prey size vary by species, age, condition and husbandry. Overfeeding or offering prey that is too large can cause problems, so always match the feeder size to the animal.

Frozen feeders should be stored correctly in a freezer and handled hygienically. Wash hands and feeding tools after use.
