Arcadia EarthMix 10L – Organic Bio-Active Substrate for Reptiles & Amphibians

Arcadia EarthMix 10L is a natural bioactive substrate designed for rainforest, woodland and naturalistic enclosures. It can be used as a base substrate for planted terrariums, vivariums and bioactive setups where moisture, plant growth and clean-up crew activity are part of the enclosure design.

EarthMix is suitable for keepers who want to create a more natural-looking habitat with live plants, leaf litter, microfauna and suitable enclosure décor.

How to Use

Add an appropriate layer of EarthMix to the enclosure base. For bioactive setups, it can be combined with leaf litter, cork bark, moss, live plants and clean-up crew species such as springtails and isopods.

Mist or maintain moisture according to the needs of the species being kept. For rainforest or humid species, moisture can be maintained more evenly. For drier species, humid areas should be managed carefully and not over-wet the enclosure.

Care Guidance

Substrate choice should always match the species, age, health and husbandry needs of the animal. Not every reptile or amphibian requires the same substrate, humidity or enclosure setup.
