Shipping & Delivery - At The Reptile Realm, we are pleased to begin offering shipping so that customers can purchase reptile supplies, live feeders, and invertebrates directly from the comfort of their own home. This service is ideal for customers who may not be able to visit our shop in person or who live further afield but still want access to our products.

Below you will find important information about our shipping procedures.

Shipping & Delivery Information You Can Trust

To ensure the health and safety of live animals and feeder insects, live feeders and invertebrates are shipped Monday to Thursday only.

This schedule helps prevent live items from being delayed in transit over the weekend.

Orders containing live feeders or invertebrates placed after the Thursday shipping cut-off may be dispatched the following Monday.

Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 working days. Once your order has been prepared and dispatched, you will receive confirmation along with any relevant tracking information where available.

During busy periods, processing times may vary slightly, but we always aim to dispatch orders as quickly as possible.

Live Feeder & Invertebrate Shipping

We take great care when packaging live feeder insects and invertebrates to ensure they arrive safely.

Our shipping process includes:

  • Secure and breathable packaging
  • Protective insulation where required
  • Careful handling during preparation

While we do everything possible to ensure safe delivery, customers should ensure someone is available to receive the parcel where possible, especially during warmer or colder weather conditions.

Non-Live Item Shipping

Dry goods, reptile supplies, and other non-live products may be shipped Monday to Friday depending on order volume and courier collection schedules.

Live Animals (Collection Only)

All reptiles and other live animals are strictly collection only from our shop.

We do not ship reptiles or other animals under any circumstances.

If an order is placed that includes any reptile or live animal, the entire order will automatically become collection only, including any additional items such as equipment, feeders, or supplies included in the same purchase.

Customers will be contacted to arrange a suitable collection time.

Delivery Responsibility

Once an order has been dispatched and is with the courier, delivery times are the responsibility of the shipping provider. While delays are uncommon, they can occasionally occur due to factors outside of our control.

Local Customers

Customers who are local to our store are always welcome to visit us in person, where our full range of reptiles, supplies, feeders, and equipment are available.
